InnoVel’s announces new members of the advisory board

We continue strengthening our position as the leading experts in travel innovation, proudly announcing two great additions to our advisory board: Sean Manchada and Nikhil Manchharam. Besides a wealth of practical experience dealing with technological innovation, they bring a strong international corporation background. Sean is based in Las Vegas, NV, and Nik is based in Singapore.

SEAN MANCHANDA

Sean’s experience spans over 30 years. He has worked for some of the world’s premium consulting firms and served Fortune 1000 clients, including world-class companies such as Accenture, Pricewaterhousecoopers [PwC], IBM, HCL, Salesforce.com, Halliburton, Cognizant, and AMEC Foster Wheeler. A Chemical Engineer with a Masters of Business, both from the Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ, Sean began his career in the Energy Sector and made his way to management consulting, where in the last 18 years he has been in the Travel & Hospitality Business.  Via his firm, Indus Advisors, Sean has assisted CIO’s and CTO’s manage large scale outsourcing deals, and has advised startups in various aspects of business operations and to scale their business models.

NIKHIL MANCHHARAM 

Nikhil is a 25 year veteran of the travel industry. He was a former executive in Asia Pacific for the Starwood Hotels and Resorts, which was amongst the largest hospitality management companies prior to the integration with Marriott International in 2016. His earlier career in management consulting included strategic planning, valuation, advisory, asset management, and investment initiatives. Presently, Nikhil is the Managing Director for Development in Asia Pacific for Yotel, a leading affordable luxury and lifestyle hotel brand that is rapidly growing globally with design innovation and new technology. Nikhil’s unconventional approach to the traditional hotel industry has enabled him to become involved with a number of startups on strategic areas such as planning and M&A. Nikhil holds an MBA specializing in Hospitality Management from IMHI – Institut de Management Hotelier Internationale (a joint Cornell-Essec program), Paris, and a B.Sc. in English Literature and Economics with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Rochester
