Flavia Hendler has worked in marketing and consumer research for 20 years. She started at a small casino in South America, and went on to pursue a master’s degree in hospitality in Las Vegas. After working in database marketing for the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, she obtained a Ph.D. in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is currently on the editorial board of Cornell Hospitality Quarterly. Flavia holds a production engineering degree for the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paolo.
